Nominating Committee for the upcoming election for 2012 – 2013 PTA Executive Board
We will need a good showing at the next PTA meeting so that the nominating committee is representative of those persons whom the active members choose to create the slate for the upcoming year. Important February meeting (2/8). PTA needs two people to volunteer from the audience in order for the committee to be properly formed.

The Time-line is as follows:
February (Elect the Nominating Committee)
Feb thru April (Search for Candidates and create Slate)
April (Present Slate to General Membership) May (Elections.)
As per our bylaws, (article VII, section 3) “there shall be a nominating committee consisting of FIVE members, THREE of whom shall be elected by the executive board from its body, and TWO who shall not be members of the executive board but must be PTA members from the general membership. From this elected group, the nominating committee chairman will be elected.”
